Threat Emails Rattle Jaipur
Following the recent bomb threats targeting the airport and hospitals in Jaipur, several schools in the city faced a similar scare on Monday. According to PTI, at least 37 schools in the Pink City received threatening emails.

School authorities acted swiftly by alerting the police and conducting evacuations of students and staff members. Police units, accompanied by bomb disposal squads and sniffer dogs, promptly responded to the scene.

Kavendra Sagar, DCP East Jaipur, confirmed to ANI that threatening emails had been directed at certain schools, including Maheshwari School (MPS International School). The bomb disposal squad was deployed for thorough searches within the school premises.

After an hour of intensive searches, police sources reported no discovery of suspicious items at any of the targeted schools. Authorities are actively investigating the origin of the threatening emails.

Historical Context
Coincidentally, the current bomb threats occur on the 16th anniversary of the tragic synchronised bombings that devastated Jaipur on May 13, 2008. This earlier incident resulted in 71 fatalities and over 180 injuries.

Similar Threats Extend to Lucknow
In addition to Jaipur, Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh also experienced a wave of bomb threats via email. Vibgyor School in Gomti Nagar evacuated its students as a precautionary measure while investigations into the threats are underway.
