Vinesh Phogat Disqualified from Olympic Wrestling Final

Vinesh Phogat – A rather unexpected development at the wrestling event in the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics; Vinesh Phogat an Indian wrestler has been disqualified at the 50kg freestyle grappling. The very talented Phogat scripted history on Tuesday as she became the first Indian woman wrestler to reach an Olympic final. But in the cruiserweight category, she was axed on Wednesday on grounds of excess weight before challenging American wrestler Sarah Hildebrand in the gold-medal match to be held at the Champ-de-Mars Arena.
