Tishaa Kumar Laid to Rest; Family and Bollywood Mourn Loss

Mumbai, India: T-Series co-owner Krishan Kumar’s daughter, Tishaa Kumar passed away on Saturday after a long illness and was laid to rest yesterday in Mumbai. Members of the Indian film industry arrived to pay their last respects to the young girl and and offer their condolence’s to the grieved parents. Some notably present at the funeral were Bhushan Kumar, Farah Khan, Sajid Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Jaaved Jaaferi.

Heartbreaking pictures and videos from the crematorium were shared on Instagram by Viral Bhayani. The pictures showed Krishan Kumar and Tanya Singh mourning as if there was no tomorrow. While, Krishan had to take the support of some people to walk, Tanya was never alone during this difficult time as a family member always stayed by her side. The couple cried uncontrollably while saying their last good bye to their child.

Tishaa’s cousins, Tulsi Kumar and Khushali Kumar, too were seen at the funeral. The two sisters seemed inconsolable as they said their final goodbyes to their sibling. The funeral which was supposed to take place on Sunday has been postponed because the aircraft carrying Tishaa’s body was diverted to Ahmedabad due to bad weather conditions.

The only time Tishaa Kumar was publicly sighted prior to her death, was on November 30, 2023, at the premiere of Ranbir Kapoor’s film Animal. The loss for the Kumar’s is an immeasurable one.
