Vinod Kambli Sparks Concern with Viral Video

Vinod Kambli(Former Indian Cricketer) has upset the fans after a video that was recently released of him where he is found to be clueless on the roads and can barely walk. The said video which was posted on social media got a lot of views and reactions and features the 52-year-old asking assistance from people on the street. This unconfirmed video on social media has prompted fans to appeal to Kambli’s long-time friend and Indian cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar for help.

 Kambli has been a victim of some health complications for the last one and a half decade starting from a cardiac arrest while driving in Mumbai in the year 2013. It was in 2012 that he was admitted to the hospital for angioplasty for two arterial blocks. 

 Sachin-Kambli Friendship 

 Sachin Tendulkar and Vinod Kambli are childhood friends; they were both taken in by the late master, Ramakant Achrekar from Mumbai. Tendulkar began playing for the Indian cricket team at the international level in the year 1989 whereas, Kambli started at the International level playing for the Indian team in the year 1991 only.

 Kambli also featured in 104 one-day internationals between 1991 and 2000, aggregating 2477 at an average of 32. 59 in total, of which 14 of them got fifty and 2 of them getting a century. In test cricket, he continued with a successful performance by scoring 1,084 runs having an average of 54. 20 in 17 matches with four hundred and three fifties. Unfortunately, Kambli again was out of the Test team after his final appearance in March 1995 and did not regain the ODI team after a series against Sri Lanka in October 2000 Consequently, Kambli retired from international cricket in 2009 and from first-class cricket in 2011. 

 On the other hand, great Indian Master blaster, Sachin Tendulkar played 200 Test matches and 463 ODIs amassing more than 34300 international runs with the facilities of 100 centuries and 164 half-centuries. He last played an international cricket in the year 2013. 

 People want Tendulkar who has a bond with Kambli may help in this bad phase of his life.
