Merchants can also personalize their experience by choosing preferred languages for payment confirmations. Currently supporting Hindi and English, the soundbox will soon offer nine additional language options.
The suite’s flagship offering combines Airtel Payments Bank’s zero-balance current account with the new soundbox. This package caters specifically to small and mid-size businesses, enabling instant account activation, hassle-free fund management, and convenient cash transactions at designated banking points—all at a fixed, one-time cost.
In addition to banking features, merchants enjoy complimentary insurance coverage against accidents, hospitalization, and unforeseen damages to their establishments. They have the flexibility to select two insurance plans of their choice, each valid for one year.
The suite further empowers merchants with digital loan applications through the Airtel Payments Bank app. In collaboration with leading lenders, the bank offers seamless access to business, personal, and gold loans ranging from INR 10,000 to INR 10,00,000.
