Introducing the Lamborghini Urus SE: the next hybrid SUV

Automobili Lamborghini has unveiled the Urus SE, the latest plug-in hybrid version of its acclaimed SUV, set to debut at Auto China Beijing 2024 on April 25. Focus on unparalleled power and luxury.

The Urus SE features a redesigned front end with a new bumper, grille and thinner LED headlights, supplemented by a floating hood system. Notable exterior updates include a new spoiler, diffuser and unique Y-shaped tail lamps. Improved aerodynamics with new air intakes and ducts under the new body increase ventilation by 15%, resulting in better cooling of the industrial components.

Inside the cabin, the Urus SE features a redesigned dashboard with upgraded materials. The large 12.3-inch infotainment screen provides intuitive controls and graphics, reminiscent of the acclaimed Revuelto model. Powering the Urus SE is a powerful hybrid system, which combines a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 engine with an electric motor, producing 788 hp and 950 Nm of torque to power the Urus powered by a 25.9-kWh lithium-ion battery SE can go over 60 km in electric mode. The hybrid system introduces four new electrically indicated systems (EPS), adding to the existing driving modes, increasing the total options to eleven.

Rouven Mohr, CTO of Lamborghini, emphasizes the company’s pursuit of top power output through hybrid technology, ensuring the Urus SE’s dominance in performance and comfort. With a focus on weight reduction and enhanced cooling capabilities, Lamborghini sets a new benchmark in the realm of high-performance hybrid vehicles.
