Samsung first showcased its Galaxy Ring at Mobile World Congress (MWC) earlier this year.

The company later confirmed to bring its Galaxy Ring in the second half of 2024. The smart ring has started making buzz online, suggesting its launch soon. The smart ring has also appeared on Bluetooth SIG certification website.

 

Samsung Galaxy Ring: Features Known So Far
The Samsung Galaxy Ring will come in nine different sizes. The device will be offered in 5 to 13 sizes, labeled as S to XL. The Bluetooth SIG listing, as mentioned above, also confirmed a variety of models of Galaxy Ring, namely SM-Q500, SM-Q501, SM-Q502, SM-Q503, SM-Q505, SM-Q506, SM-Q507, SM-Q508, and SM-Q509. According to The Verge, the ring is equipped with a compact battery ranging from 14.5mAh in the smallest size to 21.5mAh in the largest. The smart ring is confirmed to offer a battery life of 5 to 9 days on a single charge.

 

Health Tracking Features
As confirmed by Samsung’s Hon Pak, the Galaxy Ring will come with the ability to track health features through an integrated sensor array. The device will be equipped with heart rate monitoring, respiratory rate tracking, sleep movement tracking, and sleep onset time. Furthermore, Pak has confirmed that the ring will offer cycle and fertility tracking by integrating with the established Samsung partner app, Natural Cycles.
